Weird West

14 11 2011

Hot on the heels of Read Horror’s fantastic Halloween event the guys over at Twisted Tales have put together another exciting event in their series of themed readings. Their next event will have a ‘weird west’ theme and will be part of the promotion of the new collection Gutshot.

Gutshot is a brand new collection from PS Publishing and features stories from many prominent authors in the genre including Adam Nevill, Mark Morris and Stephen Volk. The book is described as ‘a Smith & Wesson gripped by a skeletal fist, chambers loaded with alien ice, muzzle pointed at your heart…’

In attendance on the night will be Gutshot editor and horror master Conrad Williams in addition to three contributors including Brummie scribe Joel Lane, Sangreal author Amanda Hemingway and one of the new masters of horror, Dead Bad Things author, Gary McMahon.

The event will be held at Twisted Tales favoured venue of Waterstone’s in Liverpool One on Friday the 25 November 6:00-8:00pm. Tickets are available either in store or via 0151 709 9820 and are FREE of charge so get in touch quickly to avoid disappointment. There will also be a £3 on the night discount on the hardback version of Gutshot.

Further details can be found on the Facebook event here.
